Kunsthalle Seinäjoki

The arts are flourishing in Ostrobothnia. Kunsthalle Seinäjoki in Seinäjoki is located in the Art and Culture Centre Kalevan Navetta. Kunsthalle Seinäjoki attracts visitors with its changing contemporary art exhibitions and art events and workshops for children, young people, families and senior citizens.

Kunsthalle Seinäjoki has two exhibition spaces in Kalevan Navetta. Architecturally, Halli on the 2nd floor of Kalevan Navetta is a hall, as its name indicates. The surfaces are of concrete and the layers of time are showing. The hall has 2 exhibitions annually. Integrated and interesting ensembles from both Finnish and Nordic contemporary art are selected for the program.  Vintti is located on the 3rd floor. The wooden space defined by a magnificent round window can also be transformed to suit events and performances.

Together with other actors of the Art and Culture Centre, Kunsthalle Seinäjoki offers diverse events, workshops and packages for private customers and groups. It is worth combining the exhibition tour with, for example, lunch or brunch at the Äärellä restaurant. Exhibition tours and house tours, where Navetta’s rich history is shared, can also be booked for groups.
