Taito Craft Day will be held at Seinäjoki’s Ideapark from October 25–27, 2024. Opening hours: Friday 3–6 PM, Saturday 10 AM–6 PM, and Sunday 12–4 PM.
Located in the cozy arts and culture center Kalevan Navetta, Taito E-P offers a variety of exciting craft courses and events, with registration available online. The latest course materials include rush (reed) for crafting items like traditional rush gnomes. New courses also feature board and belt weaving techniques, which are popular traditional methods. Longtime favorite courses like bark leather product making and clay crafting will continue to be part of the program.
The Taito Craft Day will also be held at Seinäjoki’s Ideapark again this year, following last year’s great success. The event is free and features numerous workshops and craft material vendors filling the main square.
Taito Shop Seinäjoki is a high-quality specialty shop for handicrafts and gifts. Located in Kalevan Navetta, the store offers local products, DIY craft kits, and wonderful craft materials to brighten up autumn evenings.

Autumn vibes are also in the air at Piiri. Go-Rento offers relaxing sessions where you can make natural cosmetics. Creating your own skincare products is a fun and rewarding activity, especially when shared with friends. These DIY natural cosmetics are nourishing for the skin, and with the guidance of a workshop leader, you’ll know exactly what goes into each product.
In November, Go-Rento is hosting two open soap-making workshops, where participants can create handmade soap from scratch, customizing it with different scents and colors. In December, an open cosmetics workshop will be held, allowing participants to create a variety of DIY beauty products under the instructor’s guidance. Tickets for both workshops can be purchased online, and they’re also available to book for holiday parties or other group events.
